lab. is an angura kei band formed in 2003 by 桜井青, influenced by 80's new wave and post-punk. Although they were notable for prominent bass lines, textured guitar and warm electronics, they also had a tendency toward jarring no wave/noise rock-esque interjections. The band consisting of : Vocal&Guitar: KUON (桜井青, ex. cali≠gari) Guitar: KIRIHITO (ex. どろろ) Bass: TILL (ex. P∞L) Drums: HAL (from SPEED-iD) ex-members : Bass: KANAN (now in 新宿ゲバルト) - left in 2003 Drums: KJUN (武井誠, ex. cali≠gari) - left in 2004 They decided to change their name and style and they became LAB.
