La Valse was a New Wave band from Breda, a city in the south of The Netherlands. Active from early 1984 until late 1985, the band performed live many times in local clubs and eventually recorded the single "Winter / Sorrow". The band began with three members, which was also the formation in which they recorded the single: Rob Musters (Bass) Rob Slegt (Guitar, Lead Vocals) Mik Hendrickx (Keyboards, Second Voice Vocals) Later on, the fourth band member was added: Pol Doornekamp (Vocals) Rob Musters was mostly active as guitarist between 1977 and 1997. He played in the following bands: The Miranda's, Argh (New Wave) and of course La Valse. Most notably, Rob was a member of Four One And Only's, a band that was discovered by the world famous John Peel. Rob Slegt also performed in the following bands: Poser, De Afstand and The Bop. Pol Doornekamp later joined the band Party Vultures and finally moved to the band called Never Mind The Neighbours.
