„Löschzug 23“ was founded in November 1998. After an identification process of 2 years, with changing some band members, „LZ23“ startet to play in the present band formation in 2000. The style of „LZ 23“ was always, is and will be always Oldschool Hardcore-Punk. Apart from entertaining and mostly fast played songs, there are a lot of „sing along hymns“ in the programm of „Löschzug 23“. In addition to serious and considered lyrics, which are affected by the Do-It-Yourself spirit, „LZ 23“ work with self-mockery and a lot of fun, so that every listener can restore oneself in the songs of „LZ 23“. In the meantime „Löschzug 23“ looks back on a very interesting, intensive and long-time bandhistory, in which many gigs were played. „LZ 23“ has played together with „Barcode“, „Maroon“, „Do or Die“, Born from Pain“, „Adjudgement“, „Punishable Act“, „Maintain“, „Anti-Cops“, „Crushing Caspars“, „Isolated“, „BLB“ and many more. Above all on stage „LZ 23“ can convince, where in addition to the needful seriousness a lot of „fun with Hardcore“ will be celebrated. In may 2003 „LZ23“ released the first longplayer „wake up“. In December 2006 the second CD „Hardcore-Punk und gut!“ (engl. „Hardcore-Punk and no more!“) were released. All songs on both records were composed, recorded, mixed and produced by „LZ23“.
