With an intelligent sometimes tongue in cheek lyrics and the seemless blend of soulful rnb, KZAN seems to fuse the worlds of love and thug extremely seemlessly. Kzan started out his career as a dancer. Performing in various break dance competitions and public events he soon caught the hiphop bug. He says "...as a dancer I loved the music and felt everything... I soon realised the incredible nature of telling stories in song...Not wanting to be pigeon holed I wanted to do everything, sing, dance, rap..." A fated meet with E-Love soon brought together an amazing combination that will lead to some incredible music being created. The first track by "The Elequent Playaz" was a melodic composition of hardcore hip-hop beats with a soulful edge, buttered by the vocals of Elove. "Don’t be fighting" is a track that epitomises the essence of Kzan. The ep is a new age rnb cut, that manages to fuse old skool beats with new age rnb and rap to create what has become a very successful club and pirate radio track. Coupled with the intense yet distinct vocal tone of Kzan and his creative flow and lyrics, its no wonder this cut gets amazing rotation underground.
