Recorded in October 2009 at Long Wave Studio, Cardiff, the EP was produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral For a Friend, The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses).These Precious Things is a painfully passionate look at love, loss, trust, and hope. Fueled by the heart felt lyrics and the distorted assault of guitars there is nothing comfortable or mundane about These Precious Things. Picture the ferocity of Refused, the unharnessed emotion of GlassJaw and the pop sensibilities of Taking Back Sunday and you get close to what Kyra is all about. After years of tight-knit friendship and playing music, Kyra are ready to establish themselves as one of the most promising unsigned bands in the UK. With years of shows under their belt sharing the stage with bands such as Young Guns & My Passion (at the warm up shows for the Kerrang! Tour 2010), The Ghost of a Thousand, Failsafe, and Fei Comodo.
