Kenny McLaughlin has released his first EP to the world. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. He played in bands around Texas and worked at Austin City Music for awhile. Heavily influenced by the guitar shredders of the 80s he wanted to learn as much as possible. But times changed and he enlisted in the US Navy as an Electronic Warfare Technician. This job gave him a great knowledge of electronics but he still wanted to play his guitar for a living. In 1997 while stationed in Jacksonville, Florida he auditioned for the Navy Band same place where Phil Stacey of American Idol was found working : ). After a successful audition he was accepted and has spent the last 13 years playing for Presidents, Admirals, Foreign Dignitaries and just plain good people all around the world including South America, South Africa, South East Asia and MANY places around the United States This EP is a collection of songs that he was influenced to write after traveling the world with the U.S. Navy Band for the last 13 years. Songs like Singapore Shores was written in Singapore after a long tour day it was such a laid back day he just felt this melody. Other songs like the title track "Until the End" are just his influences coming out. He feels strongly that technical ability means NOTHING with out a great melody and a vibe for a song.
