Kay6s started his music career the summer of 2021. He would often listen to artists like yvngxchris, kashdami, babysantana, axxturel, lungskull, jaydes and many more artists around this period. Kay6s was inspired by these artists and wanted to start making music for fun. He started making 2-3 songs a day getting better and better with each song he made. Kay6s didn't drop every song he made, fearing that people wouldn't like his music, not knowing that people actually liked his music and wanting him to drop more. Kay6s started joining discord servers like TweakMoney and other underground discords sitting in VC for hours watching people make music and getting a better understanding on how to mix songs and how to flow on beats. Kay6s originally went by the alias 1taly but changed it due to the fact he didn't think it suited him. He changed his name to Kay6s which he got from combining his nickname and the phone he was recording on which was a iPhone 6. Kay6s started off by making Pluggnb/Sigilkore eventually quitting those genres and switching to bitcrush. Kay6s has tried many music genres in the past but he never thought he sounded good.
