KALIKA is real name Mia Rosello, 5.4.1998 from Villeneuve-lès-Avigon, Gard, France. Runner-up in Nouvelle Star 12th season 2016. Affirmative and combative, KALIKA's voice is like a punch in a velvet glove. Bam! Her raw lyrics tell the tumultuous love and sex stories of a 22-year-old feminist. Taking her nickname from Sara-la-Kali, a saint venerated by the Gypsy community of Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer as well as Kali, Indian goddess of destruction and reconstruction, this modern-day Catherine Ringer strikes the voice, her eyes crackling with rage but the smile crossing her sweet face.
