jo0ji (ジョージ) is a Japanese singer-songwriter known for his atmospheric sound, introspective lyricism, and artwork contributions to his own releases. His music has drawn attention from various industry professionals for its emotional depth and for his distinctive creative style. Born in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, jo0ji grew up near the sea in a family rooted in the local fishing industry. His father works as a fisherman, and jo0ji himself remains involved in operations at a nearby fishing port. While pursuing music, he continues to maintain strong ties to this background. jo0ji did not initially plan to become a musician. He began making music only a few years ago, inspired when a friend started creating rap songs. His early intention was simply to produce music for that friend, but he soon found enjoyment in constructing melodies and arrangements on his own. Alongside digital production tools, he frequently relies on the piano he learned as a child. His debut track, “Fukutsu ni hana” (不屈に花), was released on YouTube in August 2022.
