jakubukaj is an alias of British artist James Grellier. His music is characterised by minimal electronic soundscapes and downbeat electronica with a lyrical component. The sparse arrangements are propped up by thick basslines and washed over by dark digital sounds, colourful noise, vocal samples, and brass instruments. In 2007 he began collaborating with Polish vocalist igamer under the name jakubukaj and igamer.
