ipsYlon is a small Dutch lo-fi festival. An omni disciplinary event where music, poetry and story readings, painting, dancing, animation and other visual media intertwine and play off on one and other. No distinction is made between artist and audience, everyone is encouraged to partake in the evenings (hence the use of "ipsYlon" as artist tag to the recordings from these events, rather than "various artists"). Previous editions have seen recuring performances by Maya Arnoldi, Dj Miss World and Musical Chairs as well as former Mardigrah members Jeroen Keereweer and Bas Bontbhuis (who made his debut as a standup comedian). But ipsYlon has also provided a platform for the classical music of Willem van Ekeren with his and Bach-Bukowski project and local poets such as and Rik van Boekel....
