Artist
A five-piece from the icy reaches of Minneapolis. The band produces a catastrophic and indescribable sound that merges the elements of technical metal and rock 'n roll with vocals that retain melody and grace. The band's onstage energy and offstage innovation abounds. The sound would fall somewhere between The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta, and Radiohead. In March of 2003 Icollide independently released a debut record, "Instructions." In support of this, the band has toured the East and West coasts, as well as the midwest extensively , playing with Against Me!, Ten Grand, A Life Once Lost, The Cherry Valence, not to mention a Hydrahead Records showcase. Without label support, the band has managed to acquire international distribution, including Japan, through Choke (US) and Nova Recordings (Europe).
