DJ Ibon was born and raised in Norway, has been based in Copenhagen for many years and specializes in hard-hitting, euphoric, unpretentious closing sets. He released his debut EP Three Ways on Courtesy and Mama Snake’s label Ectotherm in 2017 and two more of his tracks, Forest Car and No Sleep, appeared on the ten-track first release on Courtesy’s new label Kulør in 2018. Besides being a member of Fast Forward, Ibon is also a member of the legendary BunkerBauer crew, who have been operating out of a decommissioned WWII air raid shelter in central Copenhagen for nearly a decade. The collective recently launched the BunkerBauer record label with a four-track EP by various Bunker artists led by another huge Ibon track, No Love. Echoing his tracks, Ibon’s DJ sets typically combine fast, percussive, groovy techno with turn-of-the-millenium hard trance, normally within the range of 140 to 147 bpm.
