New Orleans born producer iSpark (Ian Sparkman) runs the gamete of electronic music making. From grimey southern hip-hop, to new age trip-hop and classic electronica. iSpark is a classically trained musician and draws influence from a variety of indie-rap groups and producers as well as sampling effectively from a wide array of sources that include Jazz, Trip-Hop and, modern electronica. The beginnings of his professional career was spawned with Lexington based rappers Coc and Spade Nice (of Drunken Mind Entertainment) on there first LP Blue in The Mind. The gritty voice of Coc is a stable contrast with the melodic samples and often complex baselines of his beats. iSpark's stint as a student of The University of Kentucky and original sound has gained him favor in the under ground rap scene in Lexington.
