i-dle (Hangul: 아이들; Katakana: アイドゥル), formerly known as (G)I-DLE, is a five-member girl group under CUBE Entertainment and 88rising (US). The group currently consists of SOYEON (전소연), MIYEON (미연), MINNIE (민니), YUQI (우기), and SHUHUA (슈화). Originally debuted as a 6-member group, SOOJIN left the group in 2021. The meaning of the group's name: "(G)" (여자) is for "girl" and "Idle" (아이들) for "children". The "I" in "I-DLE" is for individuality and "DLE" is plural, so the girls each have the individual personalities but they are related. On May 1, 2025, the group changed their name to i-dle, removing the “G” to avoid gendering their music and concepts. Their fandom name is: NEVERLAND (네버랜드).
