English: hunch bettors is a trio from West Jutland, Denmark, consisting of Kasper Wejse, Jeppe Ladegaard and Jesper Bagger Hvid. Since the first songs were written in October 2008, they have more or less hung out in a basement in Holstebro. In the beginning of 2010 they went to the small studio Pinligtavshed in Nørrebro where two songs were recorded and mixed with Aske Bode (Bodebrixen) and Caspar Hesselager (SLUU) at the helm. Later on, the songs were sent transatlantic to Mark Chalecki (Local Natives, Avi Buffalo, Karen O and the Kids & Bright Eyes) to be mastered. One of the two songs guaranteed hunch bettors a place in the competition KarriereKanonen that year. They (editors of KarriereKanonen) say: "There aren't a lot of songs that go well with the brown colors of the fall, the white gleam of winter, the light green spring and the sunlit sand beaches of summer.
