Hogleone, born Jorgen Hoglund in Sweden, is an American musician whose career has spanned continents and decades. From his early days playing with bands such as Tres Coronas, Imperial Sounds, Jacarandas, and the Gå Runt Show alongside Bernt Dahlbeck and Mia Adolfson, Hogleone displayed a passion for music that would guide him throughout his life. At just nineteen, he achieved a remarkable milestone by playing lead guitar with Little Gerhard and his Rocking G-men in Mexico for a year. Upon his return to Sweden, he continued touring with Little Gerhard in the folkparks as part of Little Gerhard & Sunny Girls. During his time in Mexico, Hogleone formed the group Tequila with friends Renato Lopez, Rafael Sida, Pepe Ballote, and Sam Marsden from Britain. Tequila enjoyed four successful years before Hogleone emigrated to the United States. In America, he produced several albums but eventually took a step back from the music industry, marking the end of what he refers to as “ancient history”. A few years ago, Hogleone re-entered the musical world with renewed energy and vision. Setting up a home recording studio, he embarked on a new creative journey. This time, he took complete control of the process, writing all the music and lyrics, performing every instrument, recording all vocals, and managing arrangements, production, mixing, and mastering himself.
