A fresh finnish electronica band that published their debut album Fellow at the end of 2007. The debut got to the biggest radio stations in Finland right from the start. It is a poppy fusion of different kinds of grooves and styles produced by Tapio Backlund and elegant vocals by Stina Koistinen. The Happy-Go-Lucky was started in 2003 in Tapio's home studio and some of the songs on Fellow were also written there. The project was almost forgotten when Cymbidium, a small Finnish label found Happy-Go-Lucky's material from the internet and decided to publish their album in 2005. - "It was a great opportunity to study producing, and lose my nerves with broken machines!" says Tapio "The debut was basically made with an old PC-laptop, broken preamps, poor acoustics and a lot of patience!" They are now having a break from gigging and creating the next album that will be released in 2009.
