Haelo band (formarly known as After@All) was founded in 1996. The first promotional material was published in 1997, with the title To many, peace is…. They have become well known all over the country with with this promotional material thanks to the good critics and the continous touring after publishing the demo. The same demo got the honourable title "Demo of the year" in the Slovakian Metal Hammer in 1997. The band spent the next one and half years performing concerts in the most important clubs in the country, and interviews together with reviews were published about HAELO in different kinds of musical magazines and fanzines. The band gained Ty Tabor's personal acknowledgement when HAELO was the opening act of King's X in Budapest in March, 1999. During 1999-2000. new songs were written, and by 2000. these songs had provided the base of an upcoming first album, which was first published in the form of maxi EP with the title Chameleon. Two songs were recorded on this EP (Chameleon, Synthetic) together with their remix and radio edit versions. The maxi was followed by the first album one year later (still using the name After@All) which got the title A.C.I.D., and was published by Periferic Records, a label specialized mainly in progressive music. They mix the classical elements of progressive music with modern musical solutions on the album containing 15 tracks, which truly reflect the unique conception and musicality of the band. A.C.I.D. was published in 20 countries
