Griffin Maples and Ethan Senn have been friends since meeting in high school. They both live in Louisville, Kentucky. Griffin has been composing electronic influenced music since 2002. After moving back to Louisville in 2001, he began experamenting with new styles and sounds. Griffin played in an experamental improvizational electronic/ hip-hop band for a brief while. The band would practice in one of the local second hand record stores after close. These early jam sessions inspired him to begin arranging hip-hop tracks for local and regional MC's. After a year of focusing mainly on hip-hop, Griffin's focus shifted to dance music. Employing programs like Reason and Fruit Loops, Griffin began developing his talent as an "electronic" artist. In 2008 Ethan Senn returned to the U.S. after finishing his college degree in Prauge. During his five years in the Czech Republic Ethan was exposed to the new trends in house, electo, breakcore, etc. that were sweeping across Europe. Upon returning home, Ethan discovered that Griffin had been hard at work creating over 18 hours of original electronic music. The only problem was that no one had heard any of it! Ethan turned Griffin on to many emerging DJ's and artist, and motivated him to promote and perform his own music. The two began collaborating on new tracks, and quickly developed Griffin's backlog of music into a cd and a live set. The two started playing art gallery openings and parties.
