GOLDFISH NATION was founded in late summer 2005. After extensive rehearsals and the recording of a first demo Justus Wille (vocals/piano/guitar), Martin Scharkus (guitar), Robert Lewis (bass) and Andreas Wielgoss (drums) played their first concerts in clubs in Hamburg, such as LOGO and FUNDBUREAU. Since then the four musicians have been regularly rocking the stages of Hamburg. In 2007/2008 GOLDFISH NATION released their self produced debut album No Resolution. Their style can placed somewhere between the Beatles, David Bowie, Tori Amos and The Divine Comedy. The songs and lyrics of front man Justus Wille create a melancholic atmosphere, a kind of beautiful sadness, full of emotion and power. GOLDFISH NATION stand out by their catchy melodies, great live shows and last but not least the piano roaring like a wild beast. So be sure to be there, when GOLDFISH NATION unleash their instruments and create truly memorable moments.
