Formed in 2007, goldbringer started as a solo project by frontman Ben Honebone whose early demos explored potential routes into electronica and psychedelia. After a few years, the goldbringer drive for experimentation and diversification saw the inclusion of classically trained Jodie Absalom and percussionist composer Wayne Absalom. As a three piece goldbringer has evolved to transcend the boundaries of the traditional structures of rock music. The creative relationship between the trio sees goldbringer’s initial ideas on electronica forming a dialogue with both rock and classical styles. Eclectic time signatures interweave irresistible hooks and haunting melodies to create a unique musical experience. Goldbringer’s hands-on approach to creativity and talent in remolding the shape of their own musical landscape makes for exciting listening. The combination of Jodie’s filthy keyboard sounds, Wayne’s distinctive prog inspired beats, and Ben’s infectious guitar riffs and exceptional vocal talent mean the future of goldbringer is bright!
