girlsnails is a rock / math rock band from Surrey / Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Their music is seen to be heavily influenced by emo / midwest emo, jazz, post-rock and more. On September 8, 2018, the band released their demo summer demos 2018 on Bandcamp. On November 29, 2019, the band released their self-titled EP girlsnails. On February 4, 2024, the band released their first album titled california kickball on Bandcamp, later releasing it on Spotify. With their rhythmic complexities, twinkling melodies and with help from a small horn section, the band has since acquired their own unique, intricate and signature sound.
