Their recent music is melancholic and inspired by actual events, often referencing trust issues, abandonment, family trauma, and general mental health subjects in their song titles, often long and inspired by the emo genre. Their most recent album "i didn't need you anyway", self-described as their greatest effort, sees them experimenting with panning effects and more layering for the first time, encouraging listeners to use headphones whenever they listen.
