The funkcartel name is an anagram for the artists real name which also incorporates an abbreviation of the 'United Nations of Funk' which is the planned name of their 5th album and also a guise used when dj-ing. Their style is both diverse and eclectic incorporating elements of both classical and contemporary instrument's. They generally produce music which would reside in the ambient, chillout and progressive house genre's but frequently stray across the borders.
