Fourteendays Profile: Everything began when high school classmates Kimura(Vo/Bass), Takada(Gu/Cho) and Fujito(Drum/Cho) got together and decided to form a band which they later named fourteendays. fourteendays started to play at local venues and recorded their early demos in 2002. Soon their first demo track [Anyway] was picked up by [Fukuoka Freewave 77.7HMZ], a major radio station in Kyusu, and power-played for over a month. They were also voted number one band in Fukuoka at the , a popular music website for independent bands in Fukuoka area. During this period, Kimura and Takada went to America in order to broaden their musical vision and knowledge. While in America, they met Mock Orange who they had admired musically for a long time. In no time, Kimura and Takada hit it off with Mock Orange, and formed a friendship that was to last until today. In 2005, they contributed a track to the compilation album [New Asians in Kyusyu] which sold thousands of copies in less than two months. With joining of a new guitarist Chisyaki(Gu/Cho), the band grew confident about their sound, and toured across the nation as well as playing monthly gigs at Vivre hall in Fukuoka. In 2008, they signed a record deal with Heroics Records and released their first mini album [SWAN] which was hailed by many music critics and fans as one of the most beautiful and sensational rock albums of 2008.
