fly5 is an experimental electronic music project by Katja Viljakainen. Music is a combination of very different sounds from minimalist beats to teeth brushing noises - and everything in between. It's all about THE feeling! She started creating music by recording AM radio noises to the cassettes and mixing them for own fun in '90s, the cassettes are lost and the experimental sound has moved to the digital age. She started using name fly5 in 2005. Not everything has changed since taped recording, songs are still made with the feeling (who needs skills?) and just for the fun like they were before. fly5 is from Finland and her site is http://fly5.kapsi.fi.
