originating in the foothills of south carolina, fire island, AK is the musical moniker of t. boettner. from 2004-2008, he created lo-fi, folk-ish rhythms, and was heavily influenced by the work of phil elverum, et al.. he has played shows with many touring like-minded acts, notably Thanksgiving (in his own living room!), the Gift Machine, Nate Ashley, Real Live Tigers, Dustin and the Furniture, Actual Birds, and Jordaan Mason, to name but a few. 2004-2008 Discography Do You Promise?
