Famicon is a post-rock band from Ann Arbor, MI. They were inspired by the instrumental, orchestral rock of bands ranging from the early no-wave of Sonic Youth to the modern film score-esque excursions of Explosions in the Sky. They are well-known among hipper Ann Arborites as the finest instrumental post-rock band in S.E. Michigan.
