Though both band members live in the Antwerp area, everything we used to be originates from a dark basement somewhere in student city Leuven, Belgium. Johan Roef (vocals, guitars, bass) and Tim Janssens (vocals, drums, effects) went to the same secondary school, but only started playing together in late 2007 whilst both attending the University of Leuven. Using only voice, guitar and drums, the band embraces indie rock, post-rock and various other influences. It results in heartfelt melancholy, multi-layered melodies and epic walls of sound. Like all their early work, their most recent effort remember our dying was released onto Last.fm as a free download.
