Eternal Void started in 1996 with primary instigators George Avramopoulos (guitar & vocals) and Niko Timpanari (drums & vocals). However, it was not until 1999 that the group was bound and played in a studio for first time, when John Routsis (bass) had joined the band. Afterward, the band gained three new members, while Nikos Timpanaris left. Nevertheless, he remains an active member of the band as one of its main lyric writers. The present composition of the band is the following: • George Avramopoulos (vocals, guitar) • Giannis Routsis (bass) • George Paraskevopoulos (guitar) • Sakis Kazanis (drums) Eternal Void have their own space since the beginning of 2000 where they write and create their own music. They have written around 30 songs so far, some of which were recorded either in a studio or in live performances (club or festivals). The band moves into psychedelic hard rock paths as it has influences by classic rock and metal music (more info: http://www.myspace.com/eternalvoidgr).
