Electrosleep International were a band from Atlanta, Georgia, which assembled in 1999 when former Wheeljack members Scott Rogers (vocals) and Michael Keenan (guitar), teamed up with Josh Fauver (guitar/keyboard), Jeff Dilbeck (bass) and Nathan Ivey (drums). In 2000, Dilbeck was replaced by Sean Fitzgerald, with the lineup staying constant until Ivey quit in 2003 and was replaced by Jeph Burgoon, who was also a member of fellow Atlanta acts Portrait, The Kossabone Red and Airoes. Definately one of Atlanta's better kept secrets, Electrosleep International assault and dazzle the listener with dueling guitars, cascading keyboards and manic vocals. With song titles like Our Fates Were Sealed The Day The Word Party Became A Verb, it's got to be good! Critics may claim that the band are merely copying more popular outfits such as Hot Hot Heat and The Red Light Sting, but its worth remembering that Electrosleep International had established their sound by early 2000, before any of the aforementioned bands even existed. After the demise of Electrosleep International in 2006, Jeph Burgoon stepped out from behind the drums to front Battlecat, which also features the dual bass attack of fellow Electrosleepers Michael Keenan and Sean Fitzgerald, and reunites Burgoon with former Portrait drummer, Patrick Clarici. Josh Fauver is currently a member of SIDS and Deerhunter, while Scott Rogers went on to front Flak Scrampe Traumantra. Downloads: Anthology Volume One (1999 -2002) is availabl
