The history of Elamorte.... (or Elamorte History's Story) ok...well.....history?..... oh...yes...a story..a story usually based on real facts, but passed through the inevitable filter of one's own imagination (which is as well a lack of memory), and stained by the yearning desire to make it sound meaningful .... Your own history...... history?....history is never yours... it is just a story...a story about "that"...they call "you", which is the very thing you call "I".....(or nothing...."I" don't know...) Elamorte, first of all, is not a band in the straight sense of the word...but rather a diary...DimasGestas's own diary...or his impressions of light and darkness...as he goes living and dying on the Yellow Brick Road (the way of the Cross)...and during that process, annotations are read, shouted and sang as well by other kindred spirits that bring their own energies making this act of faith more forceful and clear. Elamorte is not a specific language word (but actually a mixture of latin,spanish and italian) that comes from: "Amor" (love / alpha) and "Mort/Morte" (death / omega)...and "EL" (he) and "LA" (she)...it's also a song that praises the spark of Creation and blames the Slayer, as much as despises human nature and embraces the End... the outer...and the inner... it's the contradiction per se, yet the vindication.... How difficult it is, indeed, to write about something that is, by nature, a conflict of powers....a contradiction of ideas....an omnipresent ambivalen
