e;in (アイン) season for reading available now -> https://meatcubelabel.bandcamp.com/album/season-for-reading e;in was hatched into the world by Junichi Yodo (guitar) and Takumi Kouno (drums) as a recording project. Based in Kyoto, they quickly attracted more members, Naosuke Wakahara (bass) and Takayuki Kanazawa (guitar). Once complete, the band began live performances to complement their recordings. Their first self-titled EP came in 2010 and immediately caused a stir in the Japanese independent scene. Going back to the studio after two more years, they released a second ep, carpe diem, in the fall of 2012 which further solidified their place as one of Japan’s up and coming post-rock quartets, alongside Toe and Lite.
