dygn is a solo project of John Somers. After obtaining a bachelors degree in music synthesis from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Somers began working towards his masters at the California Institute of the Arts. Currently a Baltimore resident, he occasionally plays local venues such as The Hexagon and The Depot. In December 2008 he went on tour with Kippi Kaninus and the band Kira Kira, both of Iceland. During the summer of 2009 he performed at the University of Baltimore with Liz Meredith as part of the city's art festival, Artscape. His current project title is do-while. Somers is currently working on an album which will be released under this moniker.
