There area at least two different bands called Droll. 1. Droll is an alternative rock band from Tucson, AZ, United States. They "roll through deserted landscapes of forgotten, nineties alt and underground sounds, sifting fragments of melody for a sweeping mosaic that grabs you by the shirt collars and leaves you with a soft kiss on the forehead". They released an EP (Bitter Flower, 2020) and a full-length album (Droll, 2024) thus far. 2. Droll, an experimental virtual pop group, was formed in 1996 by D.R. Wilke. This was Wilke's first independent musical venture since his musical collaboration with Peggy "Murph" Murphy in 1974. Also known as The Droll7, the band managed to group for three live performances from 2004 onwards. The American live band members were: Kara Kay (vocals), Skinny Bishop (bass), Gina Cotton (drums), Paul Taylor (keyboards, vocals), D.R. Wilke (guitar, vocals).
