DJ PK (aka The Dreadful Peff) is an alternative DJ based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, currently most well-known for her radio show 'The Engineerium.' Opening its doors in December 2011, The Engineerium originally started as an experimental 'filler' show on Newcastle Student Radio. After building up a fanbase with her broadcasts of danceable and melodic electronica, DJ PK decided it was time to find the Engineerium a regular home, and in October 2012 began broadcasting on 1radio.org. At the end of 2012, The Engineerium was formally made a part of 1Radio's official schedule, and now broadcasts every Thursday evening 8-10pm (UK time) Peff is also the host of contemporary Japanese rock show 'We Must Warn Tokyo' on Newcastle Student Radio, and appears as a regular co-host on the Newcastle Student Radio shows 'NSR Vs,' 'NSR After Dark,' and 'The NSR Music & Ents Show.' Peff has also DJ'd live at various events in the North-East including Anime Attacks, Lates at Life, and Newcastle University Students' Union.
