Originally from the backwoods of Michigan. Known for mixtapes, remixes, and collaboration projects. DJ Matt Lampi started off alone, then joined with Dan (Kinda CLoudy) to form the Rodney Jones Experience. DJ Lampi became known on Radio X (91.5 WUPX) as Cobra Commander. It was after this then that the name became DJ COMMAND3R / COMMANDER. In the early years, the music created was more trance, breaks, and techno. It eventually would lead to minimalist vintage, turntablism, and breaks. There are definitely highly experimental songs that work well in all COMMAND3R albums.
