DJ Ammon (Ammon Haggerty) was a co-founder of the San Francisco based weekly "Mushroom Jazz" (1992 - 1995) and co-founder of the long running dance community "The Rhythm Society" (1995 - present). At Mushroom Jazz, Ammon was a resident DJ and played alongside Mark Farina, Julius Papp, Marques Wyatt, DJ IZ, DJ Thomas (Wicked), Felix da Dog, and many others.
