darwinDEE is the fevered alter-ego of Martin Coote, a something-or-other who lives in the southwest of the UK. He started writing songs mainly in order to claim a free beer at the Jacobs Ladder open mic nights in Falmouth and it spiralled out of control from there. Not his career, but his alcoholism.
