about

Mixing power electronics, dark ambient and noise with rastafari influenced music styles makes Danger Hilton a pioneer in this, probably short lived, genre they call Deathhall. The duo Danger Hilton is a side project to Olov Josefssons Band and the swede Svante somewhat known for his hip hop act Original Son of Man and the Slick Security Girls. They mostly concentrate on making covers of various reggae and dancehall songs by musicians like Bob Marley and Sister Nancy. Bringing out the seldom noticed intolerance of the rastafarian movement they preach segregation, racism, homophobia, violence and religious fanaticism through the common power electronic and noise form of expression.
