In July of 2008, dMb moved to a new moniker, known as Spinning Voices, to distinguish his older work from his new work with more refined sound. dMb began as the brainchild of 14-year-old Minnesota native David Boeser back in 2003. He still uses the Casio SK-1, as well as a Scott Cao violin, an Atari 2600 Synthcart, a Casio WK-3000 music workstation, a kazoo, a Nokia 6263 cell phone, a flexible rollup keyboard, and Audacity. He does various collaborations with fans of Lemon Demon, such as Dave12D3 and Nathan Goldman. Many of dMb's earlier songs contain references to the Lemon Demon community (Illemonati), althou
