"crying chiyo" is an alias created by Eyja Satanica. The project has a focus on being primarily noisy, deriving from genres like IDM, Breakbeat and Electronic Dance to make the foundation and main focus of the music. It can be described as a monotone, alienated or malicious sort of sound, in which it rarely strives off of. The alias started off as an unserious project, but over time evolved into a slightly more serious(?), more unhinged sound. By the release of "Angel's & Flu Shot's", the future of the projects sound was decided, and focused more on power electronics rather than just harsh noise. crying chiyo mainly releases on and is affiliated with Moth to a Flame Records, though some releases go to the Eyja Satanica Bandcamp.
