Alaska and Kojo are The Crack Epidemic - Woke Up This Morning? When Hangar 18 decided to call it quits a little over year ago I felt a bit rudderless and lost. The thing I lived for over the past 4 years was suddenly gone, and I needed a new outlet. For a while that outlet was booze and feeling depressed, at a Chin Chin show last summer I met Kojo who was a friend of my friend Kareem. He told me he had beats and I told him to send me some and he didn't give it a second thought. A few days later I received the beats that appear on this EP. I knew immediately this was someone I needed to work with and it was helpful because it gave me something to do other than drink and feel bummed.
