Mario and Cocó, originally from Perú and living in Spain since the early 90's, have crafted an endearing electronic pop project full of click new wave sounds. Far away from the electroclash tag, Ciëlo are heirs of the new romantic movement, transforming the nostalgia into modern songs of love and dance. Mario and Cocó were also behind Silvania, the electronica shoegaze band they fronted in the 90's. Their latest album, Paraíso Vacío, will be on sotres on June 2007.
