There are currently three artists with this name: 1) The psychedelic rock band Chrysalis was formed in Ithaca, NY, durig the late ’60s. Their leader, Spider Barbour, went on with solo work and with the Mothers of Invention. The band put out their only album “Definition” in 1968. The album was reissued in CD format on Rev-Ola Records on May 17, 2005. 2) Chrysalis is an American hard rock/metal band from Barstow, CA. Their discography includes three independently released albums. The self-titled album 'Chrysalis' was released on September 5th 2006. Their second album 'Focus On The Center' was released February 11th 2014, and their third album 'Reminder' was released Jan 13th 2017. The band has toured the United States extensively. 3) The noise musician Chris Groves records under the name Chrysalis.
