Centrifugal Force Machine is an industrial techno project from the mind and body of Court Knight, based out of Portland, OR, circa 2025, combines components of hard techno and 80’s industrial with lyrics pertaining to death and the desire to die. Since entering the music scene in 2016, Court has quickly built a following as a DJ, hosting multiple nights at some of Portland’s most well-known bars and clubs, and running their own booking agency, Vantablack. Entrenched from their former career as a mortician, the project’s name and visceral energy both draw from that experience. A centrifugal force machine is an embalming machine that uses an electrical pump to pulsate fluids through the body — and now, they’re here to pump industrial techno through yours.
