The name 'CSFS' was changed to MALAISE fall 2009. Leonor Correia's music is inspired by DIY and lo-fi to create 'can't sing for shit'. The solo project started in 2008 and soon after came the first show in Portugal with screamo veterans Off Minor. In the summer of 2008 an EP is recorded, meant to be released through the mexican tape label When The Tapes Have No Name and moves to San Francisco. Although this release was postponed, a lo-fi recording of original songs and including covers of Elliott Smith, Crippled Youth and Rites of Spring, is released as a tour cd called 'Holy Shit!'. It was recorded in the first days of January 09 immediately before leaving for northern US tour with Maribelle, from Chicago. Returning to Lisbon after tour, 'can't sing for shit' holds a reputation for playing mixed-genre shows with heavier bands and a keenness to play at vegan and vegetarian picnics.
