The Caledonia Blues Band was a group of blues and rhythm founded in Seville , Spain , in 1986 . During his 11 years of life recorded 5 albums and was the first band that traveled to Spanish America to play in the Legends Club of Chicago. Origins In November of 1986 , bassist Juan Arias , the guitarist Lolo Ortega and drummer Juan Ramón Borreguero " Rama "formed the nucleus of what would Caledonia Blues Band. They were soon joined Domingo "Mingo" Balaguer an already battered harmonica. In the following months, the group undergoes its first change, Juan Arias leaving the band and be replaced by Paco Martinez . As a quartet, they record a demo and licensed in Hospitalet Blues Festival . In 1988 , during a performance on the bar Pilate, in Seville, takes the stage to sing, in the jam session after the concert, an American student, who soon returned to EE.
