At the heart of this band is a commitment to social justice. Born out the the activist community of Albany, NY, Broadcast Live is a one of a kind live-music experience. The mission of the band is to uplift and empower people through poetry and hiphop, brought back to its roots with the sounds of live instruments and rich beats. The music is an entertaining balance of political commentary and superbly-crafted music. Broadcast Live is influenced by a wide range of musicians, from Dead Prez and Rage Against the Machine to Ani DiFranco and Mogwai.
